Eden House is an innovative care community operated by Shepherd’s Care Foundation, on the verge of becoming a true campus of Age-in-Place Care. For 50 years, we have been providing quality care and accommodations for seniors, and are now pleased to be expanding our care services with the introduction of complex care at Eden House.

Here, we bring our person-centered care approach to individuals who require support around the clock.

Eden House is an excellent choice for individuals living with complex conditions including, but not limited to:

Complex Care is a specialized form of Long Term Care. Complex Care facilities are designed specifically for individuals with complex, unpredictable medical needs who require 24-hour onsite Registered Nurse assessment and/or treatment.

Eden House offers 53 Complex Care beds over 6 floors. With the added supports for the specialized needs of those we serve, we offer a safe and secure environment. Our staff received specialized and ongoing training and education so we can offer the most appropriate person-centred care to your loved one.

Admission to Complex Care is only through assessment by Alberta Health Services. Residents pay a government regulated accommodation charge, which covers room and board (three meals per day plus snacks), housekeeping, linen and bedding laundry, and some building maintenance costs.

Pastoral care is available to all residents, including weekly interdenominational church services in our on-site chapel, and hymn sings.
