The Opportunity
Permanent Full-Time Position – 1.0 FTE – 77.5 Hours Biweekly
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Manager of Finance manages the finance team and day-to-day functions of the Finance Department from our Edmonton Administration Office location.  The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction for accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and general financial ledger reporting.  The Manager, of Finance will also assist with the preparation of monthly and year-end journal entries and the preparation of financial reports. The Manager requires excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and sound knowledge of accounting principles to carry out their broad variety of duties.
Consider applying if you have a post-secondary degree in business with relevant accounting courses and 5+ years of general accounting experience with an emphasis on payables and purchasing processes.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Microsoft Office is preferred.  Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.
Experience with leading a small team is preferred.
